November Currently!

October took forever!  Between conferences, jury duty, trainings, allergies, and doggie drama, I am glad to see it behind me!
Since it is the first of the month, or close to it, that means that it is time for Farley's Currently!

Listening - My wonderful Speed Queen washer is humming and churning away.  I love that hunk of metal and machinery!  So much better than the fancy front loader I gave away.
Loving - Don't get me wrong, I love my family, but I do love it when they leave:)  My sister-in-law, niece, and nephew came down and spent the night.  My nephew is performing in a drama competition in LA all day.  Because it is her first experience with such affairs, my sister-in-law absolved me of aunt duties.  I introduced my little fashionista niece to Polyvore - she was so thrilled that I am pretty sure Christmas gifts are not necessary.  The highlight of the visit was when my nephew took my walking keys to go get the mail, and managed to pepper spray himself.  After much gagging and a very long shower, he commented, "Well now I can cross getting pepper sprayed off my list."  Do I need to explain any more about why I am loving the quiet?
Thinking - I am really stepping up my quest for fitness and weight loss, so I have to go pick up some supplements and healthier ingredients for meals.   I am going to try and make carrot protein bars.  We will see how that turns out.
Wanting - no explanation necessary
Needing -  My foot is much better, if I step very thoughtfully and carefully.  So, I am going to skip Zumba (because when I Zumba, it never looks thoughtful or careful), and try getting back on my rower.
Yummy Pin - Slow Cooker Steel Cut Oatmeal!  This is in my crockpot right now!

  2. I laughed about your washer comment! I have a front loading washer and dryer and I HATE THEM! They may be pretty and efficient, but transferring the clothes from one to the other is a pain. I also want some time to just rest- like you! Thanks for visiting my blog!
