Yesterday, Lauren of
Life in Middle School and our non-bloggy friend came over. We had a planning session. Well, it started off as a planning and work session, then we had muffins (
recipe will be on next Monday's post!), and then Lauren wanted to go on a field trip. So, we went to CM Learning Store, we wandered around policing each others' purchases, and cracking ourselves up. On the way home, we had to stop at
In and Out. Then since we stopped at
In and Out, we met up with another non-bloggy friend and did three miles on the trail at the park.
What I am trying to say is that I didn't get as much done as I had I planned, but I thoroughly enjoyed myself:).
However, Lauren did manage to show me how to use PowerPoint to make all the cool things that I see everyone else doing for their classrooms. So after our walk, I came back and played for a while and managed to decide on the structure of my Master Math Notebook, and made a Table of Contents...
and these really cool dividers.
Oh, I can hear your applause over the internet...thank you! Seriously, I am very proud of myself! The cool papers are by
Miss Tina at Sugar Hill Co., and the frames are by
Lovin Lit. I will get them in my binder and show you next week. Plus, I promise to have a few more lessons done to share too!
By the way, if you look over the right at the
Bloglovin counter you will
see something exciting! That's right, 100+ followers! Lauren and I
decided that
Bloglovin counted as much as
Google, so we are cooking up
the details for a little celebration:)!
I figured out last week how to use papers, frames, etc and to do it in Powerpoint. That in itself is huge, so I am definitely celebrating with you :) Congrats on 100+ followers on Bloglovin! I'm slowly but surely getting there.

Isn't powerpoint wonderful? I like it better than photoshop elements. To me it's more user friendly on the projects I attempt.
ReplyDeleteWay to go!!

Thanks! The last few years have been so consuming that I let myself get digitally behind the times. It feels good to start catching up:).
DeleteI love using Powerpoint to create things now too. I took the plunge this summer as well. It is so much easier than Word.
ReplyDeleteHunter's Tales from Teaching
It is so much easier than I thought it would be! I never would have used it to make anything except presentations.
DeleteI'm just going to start adding BlogLovin and Google! Instant self esteem boost!!
ReplyDeleteI will admit to being the black and purple leg in that picture with Natalie!
